Hope for Tomorrow is a UK based charity running specially developed Mobile Cancer Care Units. Their services have been a lifeline and to thousands of patients during lockdown and social distancing as they continue to deliver lifesaving cancer treatments in communities with over 10,000 treatments on board since March 2020.

This summer, The Davies Foundation donated grant funding to Hope for Tomorrow to support the running costs of their mobile cancer care units – keeping the wheels turning and easing the experience for patients living with cancer.

The amazing donation of £750 will help keep the wheels turning on one of our Mobile Cancer Care Units, as each unit costs £198 per day”,

Hope for Tomorrow

Hope for Tomorrow design, build and maintain Mobile Cancer Care Units that are adopted and operated by hospital partners. Each Unit and its Nurse Support Vehicle travels to where the volume of treatment need is greatest, delivering safe cancer care in a state-of-the-art clinical facility. The Davies Foundation grant will contribute to this lifesaving project, allowing patients to experience treatment in a calmer and more accessible environment.
