Winter Foodbank Support Scheme

This December, volunteers across the group worked in partnership with The Davies Foundation to get the essential food supplies to the charities and people who need it the most.

With the global health crisis putting many families and households under financial strain and foodbanks experiencing more pressure than ever, we wanted to do our bit to support those living in hardship this winter. Together we raised over £2,800/$3,800/€3,100 which was used to source long-life food supplies and distributed through local charities including Inner City Homeless Dublin, SVP Food Appeal, LW Storehouse Chorley, Stoke Foodbank, Glasgow foodbank and Friends in Service Elko.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated as well as a special thank you to our coordinators who led the fundraising initiative in our teams: Carolyn Higgins & Louise Kinsella in Dublin, Shelley Hawkins in Bolton, Zara Nadeem in Stoke-on-Trent, Laura Baxendale in Glasgow & Celis Nozu in Nevada. Your help was invaluable in fundraising, sourcing and delivering the products in our communities!
